Salvation Wine Racks do not manufacture any of our cellars from craftwoods, laminates or cheap low grade timbers. All of our racking, boxes and bins are completed in Clear Grade Solid Western Red Cedar.
This timber is visually stunning and does not require lacquers, sealers or stains that can jeopardise your wine collection through cork contamination, ensuring a natural fume free finish.
The natural finish is necessary for long term wine storage. In addition to cedar there are numerous other hard and softwood options available to clients.

Our cellars begin as packs of raw timber and are refined and processed by hand.
Our machinery is predominantly old and true, we don’t use CNC routers and every component of timber in your cellar passes through our hands to be hand sanded and graded.
Salvation Wine Racks are meticulous about the placement of every piece of wood and we colour grade from light to dark both vertically and horizontally to give the room an elegant flow as opposed to a random patchwork.

Project times range from 10-15 weeks depending on schedule and design.
